Whether they realize it or not, everyone has a personal brand.
Your personal brand is all about who you are in public. If you get dressed up in the nines to go shopping at a grocery store, you’ve got a luxury brand. If you don’t ever curse, you could have a good brand.
Your personal brand is not really who you are as a person. It’s all about how you’re treated by the world. But if you want to be real, these two items need to be aligned.
So your personal brand can sound boring to you. Because, well, that’s all you.
But there are ways to revolutionize your personal brand and make it a success.
In this post, I’m going to share five tips to top up your brand to help you stand out in your industry.
1.Be the Most Perfect
You’ve probably heard Dr. Seuss quote, “There’s no one alive who is better than you.” And that’s true.
Too many people are trying to make their mark by behaving like someone else. They ‘re trying to copy another personal brand that works. But the question is that most people see it correctly.
People like to see others just being authentically themselves. And does one know why? Because it’s incredibly brave. the general public are scared to be themselves, which is why they like to see others doing it. It gives others permission to try and do the identical.
2.Keep yourself out of there
You ‘re going to need to get yourself out there on social media to have a personal brand online. You don’t really need to spend the entire day on social media, but you should invest your time on one or two social networks or apps that talk to you.
If you have very little time to express who you are, you will be most effective on YouTube. This way, people around the world will get a sense of your personality and what you stand for right away. And you can put yourself very quickly as an expert in your profession.
3.Using clear message
You don’t need to come up with a catchphrase (unless you really want to), but you need to be clear with how you approach people in your audience. Find out what’s special about your audience and come up with a title or a way to answer it.
Don’t make the mistake of calling them followers or something that makes you look like a mad narcissist. But seek to find something that meets their needs instead. If you’re stuck, check out this collection of oddly unusual titles for some inspiration. Using this and other clear message across all platforms to strengthen the branding.
If a message is written or spoken, everybody will be able to tell you that it came from you. It means that you should be careful about outsourcing unless you have strict brand guidelines.
4.Build “The Image”
In line with consistent wording, you ‘re also going to want to create consistent imagery. This means using the same color palette for the graphics, and it can also mean applying the same filter to each frame. Decide what works best for the company and stick to it. It’s all right to mix it up here and there, but continuity is the secret to personal branding.
5.Refine the Bid
You ‘re going to have to have value in order to keep people involved. And it’s up to you to determine what interest you ‘re going to offer.
What would you tell people that will be of the greatest interest? And even though you offer out details for free, you ‘re going to want to find a way to monetize your personal brand. Build a brand strategy before you start trying to monetize it. It will help you keep your message and intention on track.
